ISNIE celebrates Yoram Barzel's 80th Birthday

Yoram Barzel is one of the pioneers of transaction cost economics, and his work on property rights and institutions has been fundamental to the development of New Institutional Economics. His book "Economic Analysis of Property Rights" remains one of the most important works in the field. In order to celebrate Professor Barzel's long list of academic accomplishments, and to honor him on his 80th birthday, ISNIE is sponsoring four sessions at the 2012 meetings.
